Turtle conservation and hatching on the beach in front of the house is an amazing and heartwarming experience that allows visitors to witness the beauty of nature and play a part in conserving a vulnerable species. The Baja California Peninsula is a nesting ground for several species of sea turtles, including olive ridley, green, and leatherback turtles. These majestic creatures lay their eggs on the beaches of the peninsula, and several conservation efforts have been implemented to protect them. Guests of the house can witness the nesting process and, if lucky, the hatching of the eggs, which is a magical event. The conservation efforts include monitoring the nests, protecting them from predators, and ensuring that the hatchlings make it safely to the ocean. Visitors can even participate in the release of the baby turtles into the sea, contributing to the conservation efforts and leaving with a sense of satisfaction that they have played a part in protecting these amazing creatures for future generations.
